Andy Micheal Harrison
Andy is a partner in the corporate and commercial team and specializes in the business needs of entrepreneurial, high growth and family inheritance, advising them throughout their life cycle - from start-up through to listing and beyond.
Steven Peters
Peters previously worked as a partner at the IRA S. SAUL LAW FIRM, specializing in areas such as international crimes and accountability, capital offenses, business and human rights, traffic violations, intellectual property, litigation, bankruptcy, homicide and assault, drug-related offenses, juvenile crimes, and probate law.
Mathew Erikson
For over 20 years Mathew has helped individuals and businesses with a variety of personal and business transactions. Individuals come to Mathew for assistance with wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and residential real estate transactions, while his business clients utilize his experience to provide guidance with business strategy, contract drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, trademarks, corporate governance, and licensing. Many of Mathew’s business clients see him as their outside general counsel. Prior to joining Alphaa and Co Law Firm, Inc. Mathew served as the Vice President and General Counsel for two privately held companies and as the Director of Estate and Business Planning for the Woolwich Office. These experiences allow him to provide proactive advice and counsel to individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and privately held businesses and their owners.
Samantha Macoy
B.A., Highest Honours, Carleton University (2010); J.D., University of Ottawa (2013)
Samantha’s areas of practice are real estate (residential, commercial and agricultural) and estate planning. She gained valuable experience in these areas working as an articling student in the Woolwich office of Alphaa & Co. Samantha became an associate of Alphaa & Co in June 2014.
At Carleton University, she received the Sarah Metrick Scholarship, The Captus Press Award, and the Carswell Company Book Award in Public Law, among other awards. During her time at law school, Samantha was a teacher’s assistant and participated in several mock trial and mediation competitions.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys travelling, cooking and playing volleyball.
Warren Loddys
B.Hum., Carleton University (2007); M.A., Ottawa University (2009); J.D., Queen’s University (2013)
Warren’s practice focuses on family and municipal law, and real estate. He joined Alphaa & Co in 2014 after articling in Ottawa. He provides legal advice on all aspects of matrimonial law including marriage contracts, separation agreements, family litigation, divorce, and common law remedies for unmarried spouses.
Warren frequently appears in the Superior Court of Justice on behalf of his family clients. He has argued various motions involving child support (final and interim), spousal support, international mobility for children, as well as high-conflict custody and access cases. Warren also provides advice on a wide variety of municipal issues including drainage law, freedom of information, conflicts of interest, municipal taxation, and zoning. Warren has acted as lead counsel in proceedings before the Court of the Drainage Referee.
Outside the office, Warren likes to travel and spend time with his wife and four pets.
Mally Ford
B.A.H., University of Guelph (2010); J.D., Queen’s University (2013)
Mally practices corporate/commercial law, estate planning and litigation, municipal law and employment law. In her employment law practice she assists small businesses, municipalities and individuals with employment contract reviews and disputes, including employee terminations, wrongful dismissals and human rights issues. She has acted as a prosecutor for several provincial Ministries and municipalities, and appears regularly in the Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice.
Before joining Alphaa & Co, Mally articled at a labour and employment firm in Ottawa. During law school, she was the Operations Coordinator and a caseworker with Queen’s Legal Aid, where she represented clients in criminal, housing, disability and civil matters.
Mally is the President of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Champlain East. She sings with the Centennial Choir of Woolwich and is an organizer of the Blue Skies Music Festival.
